'Tis the season - crawfish season, that is! The crawfish are purchased by the sack, usually 40 lbs. to the sack, are then boiled in big pots in the backyard. Seasonings, corn, potatoes, mushrooms, onions, etc., are added to the boiling pot and the aroma coming from those pots makes you hungry! Everyone stands around waiting for the crawfish to boil and once the pot is dumped on the picnic table, everyone digs in. It's each person for themselves - pity the person who doesn't know how to peel a crawfish and such the heads!
