Brulatour Courtyard, located in the 500 block of Royal
Street in the Quarter, is probably the most famous of all of
New Orleans' many courtyards. Behind closed doors along
the street in the Quarter are numerous passageways to
interior courtyards. Once, these courts were used to keep
the carriages and horses off of the street. Today they are beautiful respites from the streets of the Quarter.
